Here's a small photo essay to honor our fallen military service men and women. I took these photos at a cemetery on Fayetteville Street in Durham. This particular cemetery displays mini flags on Memorial Day, Flag Day, the 4th of July and Veteran's Day on all the graves of those who died serving our country.
I am a 29-year-old wife of a chef and mother of a little boy and girl, 2 cats and a dog. I have lived in Durham for 6 years, before that, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Morganton, Poughkeepsie, New York, and Johnson City, Tennessee. I love to travel and experience customs unlike ours here in America. I love to photograph all of my experiences, new and old, and am pleased that I can do that for a living. I am also a writer and graphic designer in the Triangle area. My passions are photography, writing, eating, dancing, singing, cats, traveling, hiking, scrapbooking, chocolate, wine, talking, listening, movies, books, clothes, my husband. Did I leave anything out?
