The onions were given to me by a coworker as small bulbs. Paxton the dog tried to eat them a few times before we got them into some soil, and yet they still thrive on.
The beginnings of Sweet Pea, one of the flowers I started from seed.We have three pots full of these and I am eager for them to bloom.
Golden yarrow, given to me by a coworker. This should flower golden yellow in late spring and last throughout summer.
Lamb's ear (iris stalks in the background). I also received this from a coworker and have it planted in various spots throughout the garden.
Hubby and dug this bed yesterday, laying down first newspaper then liner to reduce weeds. These plants are canna lilies, given to us by a friendly neighbor. Hubby and I also placed a few hostas in the corner.
This is our side bed, the one we consider the most miraculous of all. This spot receives almost no sunlight throughout the day and has poor drainage. The moss grew on its own and thrives in those conditions. We have some groundcover that produced larger purple stalks of flowers this year, some ghost fern, and one creeping ivy. We call this bed a miracle because we do absolutely nothing to help it thrive. It takes care of itself.

Wow the garden spots look great!
The purple flowers are my faves.
I want you to tell me how you all did that new bed. Don't forget to tell me this weekend. Can't wait to see you and baby bump.
Beautiful! Can't wait to see it all in bloom and all the wonderful meals you'll cook with the veggies.
