Bargain Shopper

About a month ago I was at TJ Maxx when I discovered a pair of leather Steve Madden ankle booties. They were beautiful, the perfect fit, and had the best intentions of becoming my black fall/winter shoe. But I hesitated with the purchase, said I'd come back later and if they were still there it was meant to be. Unfortunately when I went back yesterday and beelined it to the shoe department, they were nowhere in sight.
I walked to the register feeling very defeated. Perhaps it was the hormones, but I believe there were actual tears in my eyes. Then I caught a glimpse of something on the misses rack. A flashy little shirt, full of warm fall colors and calling me in for a closer look.

I tried it on right there in the middle of the store and without looking in a mirror, decided it was coming home with me. I checked the tag quickly and much to my delight realized it only cost $15. Better yet, it was a BCBG shirt. This is why I love TJ Maxx. Name brands for under $20.

After I got home with my purchase I went in for closer inspection. Something amazing happened. I looked at the shirt's original BCBG price tag. It read $140!!!! Now how good does that feel?

SCORE!!!!

When you tried it on mid-store, I was quickly reminded of our drunken jean fitting in the middle of Sam's club :)

I love it, now we need to go to DSW and find some shoes to go with it.
