FestiFall

Hubby and I caught the tail end of Sunday's FestiFall in downtown Chapel Hill/Carrboro. Basically it is a street fair with arts and crafts vendors, live music, and much to my dismay, no food. We brought baby Caleb along for the festivities and ate dinner at 411 afterward.

Here's the thing about visiting Chapel Hill and Carrboro. There are a few guaranteed annoyances that come with the territory.
A) traffic and bad drivers, all of which are heightened by pedestrians (which there are many of because of the proximity of UNC's campus)
B) running into someone you once knew. Hubby and I each ran into about 4 people we once knew, including a few ex-coworkers, some bartenders from Franklin Street, and my lactation specialist from Durham Regional.
C) public smoking – oh how I hate it!!
D) wardrobe malfunctions

Can you see him? Scrawny, shirtless, teal jeans, and shoulder-length gray hair

E) Hula-Hoopers

These are inevitable in Chapel Hill. So that makes the top two sports at Carolina basketball, then hula-hooping.
