Team Swift

I am not sure the significance or origination of the phrase "Team Swift," but I now know that many Taylor Swift fans wear shirts emblazoned with those words after last night's concert at the RBC Center.
Hubby and I went to her concert as my early Mother's Day gift. We purchased last minute tickets from Stub Hub since her show was sold out within minutes. I feel pretty darn lucky to have gotten the opportunity to see such a talented, famous, lovable young lady. And to be able to have a night out with my hubby, courtesy of babysitters Pam and Rick (thanks a million guys!!!).
The concert was opened by Gloriana, a four piece country act that did a meet and greet after their performance. Hubby and I got autographs!
Kellie Pickler was supposed to perform after that but canceled due to an upper respiratory infection. Too bad for her and for the fans. She is from NC and was probably more disappointed than we were that she couldn't perform (although I was quite upset).
The concert rocked nonetheless.
Taylor is so genuine; she winds her way through the massive sold-out crowd to give hugs and kisses to fans. She is super energetic as well and put on one awesome show!
