I credit my hubby with the growing love I have for eating meat. I grew up a chicken eater and didn't really stray outside of that box for much of my younger days. Hubby has greatly influenced my meat intake with his cooking. His love of BBQ has made its mark on my life. Pork is probably his favorite ingredient in the whole world.
Hubby spent his day off this week both building a new storage shed and slow roasting Memphis dry-rubbed pork spare ribs. He's a saint.


I prepared the homemade macaroni & cheese and salad to go along with this tender, meaty treat.
Ohhhh, hubby's ribs are devine and I am a lucky girl.

I loved the home prepared ribs but had a hard time enduring the aroma while they cooked throughout the day...When the meal was served in the evening and the mac and cheese and salad adorned the plate as well.....I wished for a larger space to put this meal. So I had it again for lunch the following day. It has been such a good visit..for so many reasons. Thanks Busbee family!

Mmmm... I think pork is Tim's favorite thing in the world. I really shouldn't be looking at this before I've even decided what to make for dinner!
