I recently joined a Meetup group for photographers in the Triangle. This past weekend we planned a meetup at the Asheboro zoo. The zoo is an amazing place to visit, and only $10 per adult. The zoo website says you can navigate their grounds in 4 to 6 hours. With child, I'd say it's a minimum of 6 hours – or at least it was for us. And boy were we tired by the end of our visit. Caleb was much better behaved than I was. He only whined during the last 30 minutes.
For generations trips to the zoo meant family and friends...what a great family heritage to add to photos of you 'parents' when you were young,...and to pass along to the next generation.
I am a 29-year-old wife of a chef and mother of a little boy and girl, 2 cats and a dog. I have lived in Durham for 6 years, before that, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Morganton, Poughkeepsie, New York, and Johnson City, Tennessee. I love to travel and experience customs unlike ours here in America. I love to photograph all of my experiences, new and old, and am pleased that I can do that for a living. I am also a writer and graphic designer in the Triangle area. My passions are photography, writing, eating, dancing, singing, cats, traveling, hiking, scrapbooking, chocolate, wine, talking, listening, movies, books, clothes, my husband. Did I leave anything out?
