The Triangle Photography Club that I'm a member of visited Falls Lake this evening to photograph the sunset. We were practicing different metering modes – something very new to me. The day began with rain and overcast skies but grew sunny by mid-day. We were all pleased to photograph a beautiful sunset.
I am a 29-year-old wife of a chef and mother of a little boy and girl, 2 cats and a dog. I have lived in Durham for 6 years, before that, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Morganton, Poughkeepsie, New York, and Johnson City, Tennessee. I love to travel and experience customs unlike ours here in America. I love to photograph all of my experiences, new and old, and am pleased that I can do that for a living. I am also a writer and graphic designer in the Triangle area. My passions are photography, writing, eating, dancing, singing, cats, traveling, hiking, scrapbooking, chocolate, wine, talking, listening, movies, books, clothes, my husband. Did I leave anything out?

Simply beautiful. Isn't is good to do a 'new' thing with your camera. Learning is loads of fun.
Wow, you got some great shots! I love the last one, the perspective on it makes the person look so small in comparison to the water, very nice.
Beautiful!
