I enjoyed a brief little hike at the Eno River this afternoon with the Triangle Photography meetup group. We joined up just before 4 pm and most of the group stayed well into evening. I left by 5, as I had dared to bring Caleb along sans my helpful hubby. It requires a great deal of strategy to act as both photographer and single mom with 13-month-old in tow. Either way, the day was gorgeous and Caleb was well behaved.
Oh wow Mels! Took my breath away. Gorgeous photos. Oh and Caleb also. Love the one where he seems to be examining something very carefully, probably a rock. Glad he behaved for you. It is hard to go solo.
Are all the photos yours? They are lovely...I love the red and green straw, the red maple leaves and the "up the tree"..maybe a fav..the shadow on the rock"...but then the color water over the rocks..I absolutely love the "Caleb by the water" series! Don't know if it was the light, the setting or the content :-) Missed you 2 this week end.
I am a 29-year-old wife of a chef and mother of a little boy and girl, 2 cats and a dog. I have lived in Durham for 6 years, before that, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Morganton, Poughkeepsie, New York, and Johnson City, Tennessee. I love to travel and experience customs unlike ours here in America. I love to photograph all of my experiences, new and old, and am pleased that I can do that for a living. I am also a writer and graphic designer in the Triangle area. My passions are photography, writing, eating, dancing, singing, cats, traveling, hiking, scrapbooking, chocolate, wine, talking, listening, movies, books, clothes, my husband. Did I leave anything out?
