A day at the park
Saturday was a very busy day for the Busbees. It began with early shopping adventures in Chapel Hill and then a trip to Burch Avenue Park near Duke in Durham. I found this hidden gem on The Stir Crazy Moms' Guide to Durham blog. It has a variety of slides in different shapes, sizes and levels of difficulty, a brand new jungle gym, multiple swings, a school bus, a bouncy horse, a stage with "stadium" seating, a tether ball, and much more. Caleb wore himself out, right up until his nap time. He even met a new playmate named Cora (shhhhh...don't tell Ellie, his school girlfriend).

Well it is Monday, and I need my Caleb fix...
What a great park!!! I love this setting of brilliant colors and slides for the "Master Caleb" on his extreme Saturday adventure...
I am so ready to be in North Carolina with the Busbees and the Shipleys...
Oh and mums the word...where Ellie is concerned... :-)
Love the last photo! Why is it that all Durham city parks must have some sort of edging around play areas? It causes way more of a hazard then if nothing were there!
Ohhhh, next time we come into town, we should go here!
