Celebrating Baby Natalie

This weekend I was thrown a gorgeous "Winter Wonderland" themed baby shower to celebrate the upcoming birth of baby Natalie.  It was a very sweet, very delicious affair filled with snowflakes, plenty of pink and silver-hued decorations, homemade hot cocoa and many friends and family members.  Thank you very much to my dear friend Bridget - who is Natalie's godmother - for throwing such a splendid party. Thank you to each and every person who came and celebrated (and we missed those who couldn't attend). And many thanks to my friend Pam who took all these lovely photos (and helped prepare for the shower as well).

The lovely spread: Cobb salad sandwiches, Double Chocolate Chip Cake, White Chocolate Peppermint covered pretzels, pink starburst (the best flavor), chips and dip, yummy pasta salad, sweet tea, and hot cocoa.

The lovely pink roses!

The cake, which I am still enjoying days after the party.

Adorable decorations - perfect for a chilly day.

A very happy pregnant lady.

Opening gifts in the presence of great company.

Caleb awoke from his nap towards the end of the baby shower.  My sister (Tia Lis/Melissa) was so thoughtful to bring him a gift. It really brightened his day, as he had been a bit under the weather.

Shoes to be worn during Natalie's baptism.

A wonderful way to start the long weekend, and to begin preparing for this little bundle of joy.  We are so blessed!
